For the statto’s out there, each month I’ll post the previous months traffic results for our sites and network as a whole using Netratings Market Intelligence – Domestic Traffic.

August was a bumper month particularly on FasterLouder where we saw a 49% increase month on month in Unique Browsers to 170,996, an all time record!  MessandNoise also had a record month, up 8% hitting 42k UB’s.  SS reached 47k an ITM was up 7% to 276K.

As a network SA had average daily Unique Browsers of 27,486 and Total Unique Browsers of 519,518 who were highly engaged, notching up a chunky 7.9M page impressions.  This is our highest ever result and particularly good as we are still building momentum coming into summer.

Glancing at the rest of the music category, 2dayfm had a 20% jump due to the Kyle and Jackie-O scandal but I somehow assumed the spike would of been bigger given the attention it got.  Channel V’s swanky new site vmusic.com.au was up 23% to 50k UB’s.  Off to a good start and surely one to watch.
